The Yuva Utsav Series
The Yuva Utsav series began in 2014 to give the senior students of the opportunity to take the stage as soloists after their rangapraveshams. In addition. it provided a forum for our junior students to perform a program together which requires strength, stamina, and maturity.
Yuva Utsav 2014-2015
Our first Yuva Utsav series! The senior students of Silambam presented traditional Bharatanatyam margams and our juniors presented A Tribute to Gurus including the Navasandhi Kauthuvam composed by Vidwan Madurai N. Krishnan.
Yuva Utsav 2019
Thematic performances presented by senior students Swathi Ramkumar, Nimisha Nair, Vaishnavi Vaidhyanathan, Vaibu Mohan, and Ananth Udupa. Vrittin: En Mana Vizhiyile tackled the complexities of mental health and the stigma associated with mental health. Atma Pariksha explored shades of love outside the context of the gender binary.
